The Atlanta Braves World Champions Trophy Tour made a stop at Silo Square in Southaven Wednesday, where fans of all ages were able to take photos with the World Series trophy in Austin Riley’s hometown.

Hill said adding the bridge will make Southaven a more walkable community and provide a nice link to the amenities at Silo Square. The $225 million, 288-acre commercial, retail and entertainment area at Silo Square will give Southaven its own unique town square setting that it hasn’t had before, and serve as a destination for tourists as well as locals.

The new restaurant will feature patio seating and a take-out window. This is to tap into potential customers attending concerts at nearby Snowden Grove and the area playing fields.

Georgia Blue offers a wide menu packed with Southern-style fish and meat dishes, pasta, sandwiches and a cocktail menu featuring the restaurant's own line of spirits.
In addition to food options, the restaurant will frequently host live music.

Hill said Belly Acres is another perfect fit for Silo Square in their quest to attract unique restaurants with different food offerings in Southaven.

“The Getwell Road corridor between Church and Goodman is kind of the heartbeat of DeSoto County,” Burnett said. “This is the center of the universe for DeSoto County. Brian (Hill) just put an exclamation point on it when he did it (Silo Square).
Burnett also said the location fits because of the makeup of businesses and nearby residential areas that Planters wants to serve. The entertainment and recreational availability from Snowden Grove across the street also fit into the vision of connecting with the community.
